Patriot Front member Alexander N. Sisenstein has an unusual last name.
That is basically the only reason we are looking at him before the other 30 members of the Patriot Front group that were arrested in Coeur D’Alene, Idaho on Saturday, June 11, 2022.
“Low Hanging” in this context means that Alexander’s “rare” last name makes him and his relatives easy to find on the Internet. Many of the names of the other 30 members have common surnames, like Johnson, Smith, Ryan and Brown.
There are 100,000 James Johnson’s in the United States, but their is only one Alexander N. Sisenstein. Forebears.io is helpful for this type of initial research. It counts the number of instances of people with a given surname.
There are approximately 55 people in the world (all in the United States) with the last name “Sisenstein”, or about 1 in 6.6 million. (By comparison, there are about 2.2 million people in the United States with the last name Johnson, or about 1 in 165.)
That alone might be a “tell.” Johnson, Smith, Ryan and Brown might be fake names, chosen because they are hard to definitively say that the man in the mugshot is who the authorities say he is.

The Legacy Media keeps saying Sisenstein is from Utah, or 81 West Wasatch St., Midvale, Utah to be precise.

Alexander may live in Utah, but there is not much to suggest he has been there long, or has roots there. Thanks to Alexander’s rare last name, we can definitively say that Alex is from Norfolk, Virginia.
Always Planning and Plotting in Norfolk
We have written about Norfolk a lot. All kinds of skullduggery and “Deep State” conniving comes out of Norfolk for various reasons. (Governor Phil Murphy’s wife, Tammy Snyder Murphy is from the Norfolk area if anyone wants to get up to speed on the areas historical connections to organized crime and the intelligence community.)
Along the lines of Right Wing extremist groups, as the “Patriot Front” has been labeled, we call attention to our series on George Lincoln Rockwell, late 1950’s founder of the American Nazi Party, and Harold Noel Arrowsmith Jr. his wealthy, weird benefactor.
Norfolk is where the FBI caught up with the two in October 1958 after the bombing of an empty Synagogue in Atlanta at 3:00 AM. The “Feds”, back then, did not seem to “press” either George or Harold too hard, which seems like the standard procedure for specific members of Right Wing groups up until the present.
Alexander’s father, David A. Sisenstein has owned a home in Norfolk since 1994 and presumably that is where Alexander grew up. None of this makes Alexander part of some Deep State “school play”, but the blurry Utah house and assertion Alexander is from Utah is enough to consider that his Norfolk roots are possibly inconvenient to the broader narrative.
Relatives in the Business
We want to take a closer look at Alexander’s family so we are just posting these infographics for now and links for anyone who wants to play along.
Three relatives of interest so far are:
Uncle Mark Sisenstein (died) 2014 – Worked for TMG (Threat Management Group) a defense and law enforcement contractor that is in the business of training its customers for terrorist threats and dangerous situations.
Cousin Kyle Sisenstein – Currently works for America Rising Corporation. The company does opposition research for what looks like RINO (Republican in Name Only) candidates.
Cousin Mike Sisenstein (Jr.) – Recent resident of Cape Vincent Correctional Facility in Jefferson County, NY and Collins Correctional Facility. We are not familiar with Inmate Records, but it looks like he entered Cape Vincent in October 2018, was transferred to Collins, and then released on parole in January 2021. It looks like he was in for possession of stolen property and First degree Criminal Contempt.

There is also this lawsuit Mike filed while in prison, not sure if relevant or not. Sisenstein v. Smolinsky et al
It would be interesting to see if any of the 31 Patriot Front doofuses spent time in Cape Vincent or Collins with cousin Mike.
